Bedwellty House & Park, Morgan Street, Tredegar, NP22 3XN

website designed by limeface.co.uk

At Bedwellty House & Park we offer a creative Educational Programme that covers a range of topics including the Victorian period which focusses on the life of Samuel Homfray, the Ironmaster and occupant of Bedwellty House in 1851.

Our programmes are extremely flexible and can be covered as a whole day visit or a half-day session; our sessions are tailor made to meet the requirements of each school, allowing us to adapt the programme depending on the number of children and the duration of the visit.  In addition to this we are also happy to put together a specific programme if you would like to focus on a different topic to the ones already on offer.

As well as the Victorian programme, we also offer a range of other sessions, all of which are jam packed with hands on activities and crafts which the children can take home, including:

  • Fairy Fun

Suitable for Foundation Phase

  • Pirate Adventures

  • Habitats

Suitable for Foundation Phase & Years 3 and 4

  • Wonderful Woodlands

  • Dessert Island Escapades

  • Seasonal Visits
