Coronovirus (COVID-19) Information for Visitors
All visitors are asked to follow social distancing guidelines at all times while in our park or House.
Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly, wear a face mask where necessary and keep 2 metres away from other visitors at all times.
Visits to Bedwellty Park
Our park is open daily from 8.30am – 8.30pm.
We ask that all visitors follow social distancing guidelines while in the park and keep 2 metres from other visitors at all times.
Orchid House Tea Room
We are currently open for indoor dining from Tuesday - Sunday for a maximum of 6 people from 6 households per table.
Please note that pre-booking is essential for any indoor dining or visits to our Courtyard Bar.
Everyone aged 12+ will be required to supply their contact details for Track and Trace purposes.
During the school holidays we have a selection of outdoor activities for children - please visit our What's On page for more information.
Celebration Events - Family Gatherings, Baby Showers etc
Under the current Welsh Government restrictions, we are able to take outdoor bookings for up to 30 adults for our Courtyard Terrace, seating would be under the canopy on our picnic benches. Any indoor bookings would be seated within our Orchid House Tea Room and would be limited to a maximum of 6 adults per table – with no mingling between tables allowed.
All bookings would need to adhere to the current social distancing guidelines and track and trace information would be required for everyone in attendance.
We are now able to start taking bookings for children’s parties at Bedwellty House, but there are still some restrictions on what we are able to do. In accordance with the current Welsh Government guidelines, we can provide the following for parties for children aged under 11 years:
Private room hire.
Limited number of adults would be permitted; with a maximum of 6 seated per table. Adults must remain seated at their tables and cannot mingle with other tables.
Food options would be a pre-plated buffet or pre-plated hot meal with ice-cream for dessert.
Discos are permitted, but the DJ or entertainer would need to be included in the adult capacity limit for the room.
Close contact activities such as face painting would not be permitted.
Track and trace information would be required for all adults.
All bookings would need to adhere to current social distancing guidelines, with all adults required to wear a face mask when not seated at a table and track and trace information would be required for everyone.
Weddings & Civil Ceremonies
We are currently able to take bookings for small socially distanced wedding ceremonies and outdoor receptions for up to 30 people. We can also arrange socially distanced appointments for people to come in and view Bedwellty House or chat with our team about wedding packages.
Wedding and civil partnership receptions are permitted for up to 30 people outdoors or 15 people indoors (not including children aged under 11 or carers).
The Registrar’s office at Bedwellty House is currently open by appointment only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am - 4.30pm. You can contact them directly on 01495 353374 or email them at email@example.com
