Coronovirus (COVID-19) Information for Visitors

While inside Bedwellty House all visitors are required to wear a face mask and to follow social distancing guidelines.  We also encourage everyone to 'flow before you go' and take a lateral flow test before visiting or meeting up with people not in your household.

Visits to Bedwellty Park


Our park is open daily from 8.30am – 5.30pm.  

Orchid House Tea Room


The Orchid House Tea Room is open for indoor dining and takeaways Monday - Sunday from 10.30am - 4.30pm

Please note that pre-booking your table is advisable where possible to avoid disappointment: Call 01495 353397

Everyone aged 12+ is required to supply their contact details for Track and Trace purposes, to wear a face mask when not seated and to follow all social distancing guidelines.

Tables are limited to a maximum of 6 adults (from different households).

Weddings & Civil Ceremonies

The current restrictions for Weddings and Civil Ceremonies state that the capacity for ceremonies and receptions can be set by the venue and must account for social distancing.

The Registrar’s office at Bedwellty House is currently open by appointment only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8.30am - 4.30pm.  You can contact them directly on 01495 353374 or email them at

Celebration Events - Family Gatherings, Baby Showers & Children's Parties


Under the current Welsh Government Alert Level 2 guidelines organised indoor activities are limited to 30 people, and outdoor activities up to 50 people.
